Brittany Atkins, a young woman from Cordele, Georgia, died in a fatal motor vehicle accident on Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was a mother of a six-year-old son.

What happened to Brittany Atkins?

The authorities responded to a scene of an accident in Clay County, Georgia. According to the reports, Brittany and her partner Colton Leach were driving home from a Jelly Roll concert. They were celebrating a milestone of one year of sobriety. When fate twisted, Brittany was driving the vehicle, and they met with a tragic accident that claimed Brittany’s life. Colton was ejected from the vehicle and sustained injuries.

The two had a son in 2017 named Colton Rhett Leach, fondly called C-Rex. The two also co-owned a business, Black Creek Towing & Off-road Recovery.

Brittany’s tragic, untimely death has left loved ones in deep mourning. Her heartbroken partner, Colton Leach, took to social media and shared that he would not be taking any calls or messages. One year ago, Brittany made a life-changing decision and chose to devote her life to following Jesus. Her family has found comfort in knowing that she is with Him now.

Her partner Colton and a few close relatives shared the news of her untimely passing on social media. A celebration of life was announced in a post on social media, which will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Bar J ranch- 4564 Crazy Horse Avenue, Middleburg, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
