Let me preface this story by pointing you to this other article in which In Touch claimed that Julia Roberts was totally jealous of Sandra Bullock’s career and the fact that she’s still in high demand at 46 while Julia is fighting for recognition at 42. Now the National Enquirer has an article claiming that Jennifer Aniston, 41, is jealous of Sandy’s success and wants to follow the career example she’s set. She could start by trying to keep her private life under wraps instead of having her people issue statements about every date she goes on. It also wouldn’t hurt if she would try to play more than one character that she’s long since grown out of. Here’s part of the Enquirer’s story:
Jennifer Aniston wants a new career – the one that belongs to Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock!
The former “Friends” star, whose past four movies have bombed at the box office, is locked in a one-sided competition with Hollywood hit queen Sandra.
“Jen is incredibly envious of Sandra’s life and career,” an insider told The Enquirer.
“She’s using Sandra as a template for her.”
Jennifer, 41, met with her agent and a team of handlers recently for crisis talks to discuss how to rebuild her career, says the insider.
“Jen hates that her personal life, especially her divorce from Brad Pitt, overshadows her film and TV work.
“Jen is frustrated that Sandra emerged stronger and more popular than ever after her marriage imploded while, five years after her big split, Jen is still struggling.
“She looks at Sandra’s resurgence and thinks, ‘That should be me!’
“Jen’s envy is out of control. She told a pal, ‘Sandra makes me sick. She has a great film career, a beautiful baby – everything I want! I hate her.'”…
“Now, Jen is demanding that she’s shown every script that Sandra is offered,” added the insider. “She is determined to emulate Sandra’s career and to follow her lead in rebuilding her personal life.”

This could be creative fiction from The Enquirer like the In Touch story from a few weeks ago. Maybe it’s true though and Aniston is jealous of Bullock. Which actress wouldn’t be? I’m not buying the Enquirer’s claim that “Jen hates that her personal life, especially her divorce from Brad Pitt, overshadows her film and TV career.” She capitalizes on it every chance she gets so she can’t have it both ways.
You know why Sandra “emerged stronger and more popular than ever after her marriage imploded“? She didn’t talk about the infidelity or her ex other than in general positive terms and she specifically said she didn’t want people to feel sorry for her. Do I need to point out all the times that Aniston went about it the completely wrong way? Plus Sandra is just a more sophisticated person than Jen is. She has varied interests, she’s capable of speaking at length about them, and she’s a fine actress. I didn’t see much from Jen this past promotional tour other than what we’ve seen from her for the past ten years. Sandra is witty, warm and involved in charity. She’ll get more films because we like her and we’ll fill the seats to see her. It’s simple.
Oh – and as I was looking for photos I found these new pictures of Sandra outside a gay bar in LA last night! She looks tipsy and I love it.
